What is Welcome Week?
This annual campaign is an opportunity for neighbors — both immigrants and U.S.-born residents — to get to know one another and celebrate what unites us as a community.
During Welcome Week (Sept 9-18), hundreds of Ys and local organizations host events to: Celebrate our diversity and bring communities closer together.
What is the Goldsboro Family YMCA offering to the community during Welcome Week?
During the Welcome week we will be offering 2 meetings for the Newcomers to come and learn about what's going on in Wayne County and the Goldsboro YMCA. Literature will be provided in both English and Spanish. We would love to get to know each individual and ways we can help serve them in our community. Dates and times for the meetings are:
Monday, September 12, 11am-12pm.
Wednesday, Septmeber 14, 6pm-7pm.
¿Qué es la Semana de Bienvenida?
Esta campaña anual es una oportunidad para que los vecinos, tanto inmigrantes como residentes nacidos en los EE. UU., se conozcan y celebren lo que nos une como comunidad. Durante la Semana de Bienvenida (del 9 al 18 de septiembre), cientos de Y y organizaciones locales organizan eventos para: Celebrar nuestra diversidad y acercar a las comunidades.
¿Qué ofrece Goldsboro Family YMCA a la comunidad durante la Semana de Bienvenida?
Durante la semana de Bienvenida ofreceremos 2 reuniones para que los recién llegados vengan y aprendan sobre lo que está pasando en el condado de Wayne y Goldsboro YMCA. Se proporcionará literatura tanto en inglés como en español. Nos encantaría conocer a cada individuo y las formas en que podemos ayudarlos a servir en nuestra comunidad. Las fechas y horarios de las reuniones son:
Lunes 12 de septiembre, 11am- 12pm.
Miércoles, 14 de septiembre, 6pm-7pm.
