Personal Trainer - Current Personal Trainer Certification (or advanced certification needed.) Responsible for promoting fitness and wellness through the YMCA personal training program. He/she must understand and have a commitment to serving the general population in their pursuit of health and well-being; be proficient in developing and facilitating safe, well-planned individual and small group sessions; be able to build positive relationships with members and staff and be a role model for them, exemplifying high standard and values; and manage those functions in accordance with the mission, goals, and policies stated by the YMCA. Youth Coordinator - The Youth Program Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and training After-school and Summer Camp counselors, and all aspects of After-school and Summer Camp programming and recruitment of children. The Youth Program Coordinator will make decisions related to the specific activities, personnel, and fiscal management of program payments.
The Youth Coordinator must be at least 21 years old, and have a high school diploma or its equivalent. The Youth Coordinator must pass a DMV background check. Applications due September 10th.
The Youth Coordinator must have one of the following:
- Two years of childcare/youth work experience
- An associate degree with at least 12 semester hours in child development, education, or related field
Cycle (Group Exercise) Instructor - Responsible for promoting fitness and wellness through the YMCA Group Exercise program. He/she must be committed to serving the general population in their pursuit of health and well-being; be able to conduct group exercise classes in the designated format; promote safety and well-being when developing and implementing classes; be able to build positive relationships with members and staff and be a role model for them, exemplifying high standard and values; and manage those functions in accordance with the mission, goals, and policies stated by the YMCA.
