We understand that life comes with twists and turns. If you wish to place your membership with us on hold we are more than happy to help. Per our membership agreement, members are entitled to one hold per calendar year. Members may place their membership on hold for a minimum of one month. Hold requests must be made by the last day of the month and in writing; requests will not be assumed on the YMCA’s part. Requests can be submitted in person or by email at communications@goldsboroymca.org. A hold request form must also be completed by the member, stipulating the length of time they are requesting their account to be placed on hold for. A hold fee of $5 per month must be paid in full at the time of the hold request. When the hold period requested by the member expires, the hold will be removed from the account, and the member will continue to draft per their full membership rate. 

All holds must be requested before the last day of the previous month to be processed.  On the 1st of each month, all draft information is sent to our third-party collections and we cannot stop it at that point.
