GREAT NEWS… Registration is now OPEN for you to show your interest for the GOLD Sharks Swim Team!
If your swimmer hasn’t already registered, do so  via this link.

Updates:
As usual, swimmers will be assessed and placed in a practice group where they will thrive as they learn and train with swimmers of similar abilities. Practice groups may differ slightly from previous years, but we will strive to keep practices as familiar as possible.
It is our hope that practice will begin on Wednesday, September 21st, pending the amount of registrations. We are working on specific practice group times, and are trying to work with your respective schedules so that every swimmer who wants to be a part of the team can participate. If you have special considerations, need to connect with another parent for carpooling, etc., please let us know.

Though we do not have a coach yet, several professionals have offered to assist our team and provide high quality, appropriate practice workouts to help our swimmers succeed and meet their respective goals. Please let us know if you can help with practices in any way. We need your support, and will work to train/equip all who wish to volunteer! Safety of the athletes is of upmost importance, therefore we must follow all policies/procedures/guidelines prior to allowing volunteers on the pool deck.

Mark Pritchett, the new CEO, begins his first day on the job on September 15, but is already working together with us to explore the best options to help the program succeed and thrive.
Please spread the word about our swim team, and invite others to join us.  This pre-registration process will let us know which families are interested in participation in this program as we try to plan our next step. Once any decisions are made, families that have registered will be contacted within the week with additional follow up information on any next steps.

Please bear with us!  There is much to do and we welcome your ideas, your participation and partnership with us!

Best,
Y Aquatics
