We at the Goldsboro Y feel strongly that income should not be a barrier to anyone in our community wishing to invest in their health and wellness. Every year, the Goldsboro Family YMCA provides financial assistance through donations made to our Annual Campaign, special events and grants. These donations support those within our community whose income doesn’t allow for membership, program participation, childcare or camp. 

Who Qualifies?

Anyone can apply to receive financial assistance. We use a sliding fee scale based on total household income and the number of household members. We also consider special circumstances when providing assistance so please include any and all information you feel is applicable to your current situation.

Recipients are expected to be responsible for a percentage of their program and membership fees. Qualification for financial assistance is reviewed every year. 

To apply for financial assistance, please complete our online application below, or print our application and drop it off at our Welcome Desk along with the required documentation. A member of our membership team will call you within 3-5 business days to discuss your next steps.
