Our Hall of Fame Benefit Dinner honors all of the great visionaries and pioneers of our Y. This year, the dinner has been postponed until Spring of 2022. This will be an impactful event, filled with smiles, laughter, and emotion as we reflect on all of the years that the Y has made an impact in our community, as well as remembering our Y family that we have lost.  This is a great opportunity to be enlightened by all of the great memories and impactful stories that our Y has created. The fun-filled night will feature live performances, special tributes, and a dinner buffet. Honoring the Goldsboro News Argus (and the Hal Tanner Family), James R. (J.R) Nickens, Jr., Charlie Rouse, and Ophelia and Percy White.

Please submit request for a personal invitation to be sent by mail.

ABOUT THE BENEFIT DINNER
The funds raised from this event promote strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility and support the ever-growing needs of so many. The Y welcomes everyone and through our fundraising, we provide financial assistance annually to deserving children, teens, families and seniors. Fundraising is a critical component in our ability to offer school age child care, summer camp, membership and program scholarships to those in need.
The YMCA's work is all throughout our community.  We are more than a gym; we are a cause.  We are providing innovative child, teen and adult services, bridging the achievement gap for school age children, providing essential water safety classes and developing health initiatives that educate youth on nutrition and life changing behaviors that lead to a healthier lifestyle. The money raised through the Benefit Dinner will help so many people in our community.
