GET FIT & MAKE A DIFFERENCE

"Help the Hungry" is a motivational challenge that begins in September and ends in November. Along with keeping participants accountable to their exercise routine, this challenge also benefits our community. The donated food is distributed at Christmas to local families who are in need of assistance through our "Y's Men" event, and pet food to the Humane Society. After completing the below requirements, participants will receive a Y drawstring sport backpack and a special luncheon as a congratulations and appreciation of their efforts.

CHALLENGE RUNS FROM OCTOBER 10 TO DECEMBER 10 (Workout deadline extended through 12/31 due to Hurricane Matthew & Improvements Week!)

REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING CHALLENGE:

  • Log ALL of your activity at the Touchscreen at the Front Desk
  • Complete 30 workouts (1 per day allowed)
  • Donate 30 nonperishable food items
  • Donate 1 pet food items
  • Perform 3 random acts of kindness
