CANCELLATIONS & MEMBERSHIP HOLDS
In the event that an exercise class is cancelled due to an instructors illness or scheduling conflict, we will post such notices on our Facebook page. If a paid class is cancelled due to enrollment or likewise, the Y will contact you directly and arrange for rescheduling or refund requests.
Memberships may be cancelled by the primary account holder only, by giving written notice 30 days before your account will be closed. Cancellation must be given before the last day of the previous month. After the 1st of the month, scheduled payments cannot be stopped or cancelled. This is a continuous membership valid until cancelled by the member.
Members in good standing at the Goldsboro Family YMCA can place their membership on hold for up to three continuous months due to an illness, medical procedure or relocation. This is offered at a maximum of once per 12 month period. The primary member on the account must come by the Front Desk before the last day of the previous month in order to process a hold. On the first of each month the drafts are processed and cannot be stopped. There is a one time hold fee of $5 per month to place an account on hold.
