Alex Black has been coaching in Goldsboro since June 2003.
Prior to that, he was an Assistant Age Group Coach with the Dallas
Mustangs in Texas. He was also
the Head Coach for the Hillcrest High School Panthers, leading them to their
first District Two-in-a-Row Championship in fourteen years, and their first
appearance at the State Finals in eighteen years.
Alex
grew up swimming with WSY, the Y swim team out of Winston-Salem, North
Carolina. He went on to compete
in Y-Nationals, Jr. Nationals, U.S. Nationals, and the Canadian National Championships
