The YMCA has been a leader in aquatics for
over 100 years. The Goldsboro Family YMCA offers swimming instruction for
all ages. We adopt the guidelines set forth by the YMCA of the USA that
promote safety, skill-development and fun. Our lesson program is
designed to offer a skills progression to enable children to learn new
skills as they improve more basic swimming skills. We promote a staff to
child ratio of a minimum of 1:3 to a maximum of 1:6.
